Conditions d’utilisation

Welcome to Shnuggle! These terms explain how buying from our website works and what you can expect from us. Please take a moment to read them before you place an order. If anything isn't clear, just email us at hello@shnuggle.co.uk.

These terms apply to customers buying as consumers. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights.

1. About us

This website is run by Shnuggle Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland.

  • Company number: NI601295
  • Registered office: 17 Jubilee Road, Newtownards, BT23 4YH, United Kingdom
  • VAT number: GB140677122
  • Email: hello@shnuggle.co.uk

2. Placing an order

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and give us accurate details, including your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and payment details.

Before you pay, you'll be able to review your basket and delivery details and correct any mistakes. Orders and these terms are in English.

When our contract starts
After you place your order, we'll send you an email to confirm we've received it. This isn't yet acceptance of your order. Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation email.

If we can't accept your order
Occasionally we may not be able to accept an order, for example if:

  • the product is out of stock
  • we can't get authorisation for your payment
  • there's an obvious error in the price or product description
  • we're unable to deliver to your address

If this happens, we'll let you know and you won't be charged, or we'll refund you in full.

We recommend saving or printing a copy of these terms for your records.

3. Our products

We do our best to show our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and packaging may occasionally vary from the pictures shown.

Please always read and follow the instructions, care guidance and safety warnings that come with your product.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices include VAT where it applies.
  • Delivery charges, and any other charges that apply to your order, are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment is taken in full when you place your order.

If we find an obvious pricing error after you've ordered, we'll contact you before dispatch. You can then choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

You'll find our delivery options, times and charges in our Shipping Policy.

  • We'll deliver within the timeframe shown at checkout. If no timeframe is given, we'll deliver within 30 days of your order.
  • Your products are your responsibility once they've been delivered to you, or to someone you've asked us to deliver to.
  • Products become yours once we've received payment in full.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You can cancel your order before it's dispatched for a full refund. Once your order arrives, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, and we also offer a 30-day returns window for items that are new, unused and in their original packaging.

Full details, including how to cancel or return an item and how refunds work, are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

7. Faulty products and our guarantee

By law, our products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. On top of your legal rights, all Shnuggle products bought in the UK and European Union come with our 12-month guarantee.

To find out what to do if something is faulty or damaged, and how to make a guarantee claim, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy. Guarantee claims can be sent to hello@shnuggle.co.uk.

8. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms or don't take reasonable care, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it's obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you placed your order. We're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.

Our products are for domestic and private use. We're not responsible for any business losses, such as loss of profit or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • defective products under product liability laws
  • breach of your legal rights as a consumer

9. Events outside our control

Sometimes things happen that are outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather or major disruption to carriers or suppliers. If this delays your order, we'll let you know as soon as possible and do what we can to keep the delay short. If the delay is significant, you can cancel your order and we'll refund you for any products you haven't received.

10. Using our website

  • We work hard to keep our website available and accurate, but we may update it or make changes from time to time, and it may occasionally be unavailable.
  • Everything on our website, including text, images, logos and product designs, belongs to Shnuggle Ltd or the people we work with. Please don't copy or use it for commercial purposes without our permission.
  • Please don't misuse our website, for example by introducing viruses or trying to gain unauthorised access.

11. Your privacy

We look after your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Complaints

If you're unhappy with anything, please email us at hello@shnuggle.co.uk and we'll do our best to put things right. If we can't resolve your complaint, we'll let you know about any alternative dispute resolution options available to you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on our website when you placed it.

14. Other important terms

  • If a court decides that any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest will still apply.
  • If we don't enforce any of these terms straight away, we can still enforce them later.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We'll tell you if this happens, and it won't affect your rights.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.

  • If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in the Northern Irish courts.
  • If you live in England, Wales or Scotland, you can bring legal proceedings in either your local courts or the Northern Irish courts.
  • If you live in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring legal proceedings in your local courts.
